Just cool teeth

At a young age, good oral health is very important. Healthy children's teeth lead to healthier adult teeth. We therefore advise children to start visiting the dentist at an early age.

Take children to the dentist from the age of two

Take your child to the dentist from their second birthday. Then he or she can get used to the environment and the dentist chair without actually having a treament. This way our practice becomes a nice place for your child to visit and he or she is less likely to be afraid.

Baby and permanent teeth

Pediatric dentistry focuses on oral care for children up to 18 years of age. This oral care varies from prevention and check-ups to extensive fillings of baby and permanent teeth. Pediatric dentistry sometimes requires a little more patience and a different approach than 'normal' dentistry for adults. It is very important for children to know what is going to happen, so that they are not afraid of the unknown.

Free dental care for children

Good to know: general dental care for children up to 18 years of age is covered by basic insurance and is therefore fully reimbursed. The costs are subject to a deductable amount. Other conditions and payments apply to specialist care such as braces, crowns and bridges.

Gewoon Gaaf Practice

We are a Gewoon Gaaf (Simply Cool) practice. Gewoon Gaaf is a cavity prevention method for every child from 0 to 18 years old and their parents/caregivers. The prevention method allows parents and children to see what their own influence is on the development and especially the prevention of cavities. Those who brush their teeth well and do not consume a lot of soft drinks and sweets can simply keep their teeth healthy!
